Everyone trusts Patrick because he is the new mayor of Sylvanian Village. He is always making new plans for what should happen in Sylvanian Village and makes sure that everyone in the village is happy. He is really busy, but he always says that when he sees his wife Margaret's smile, he is not tired anymore. Patrick is also the school superintendent at the village school in Sylvanian Village. He knows a lot about the stars and takes his students to the observatory to look at the night sky and learn about the constellations. Every morning he stands at the school entrance and greets each individual student as they meet. Margaret is very polite and is good at teaching the children table manners. She is not stiff and tight-lipped while teaching table manners - she has such a lovely warm and hearty smile that even the most nosy children listen to her and end up learning table manners. Margaret manages the village donut shop. When the children come into her shop, they are greeted with a smile and a freshly baked doughnut. Piers has a voracious appetite - his motto is "I'm hungry". If he gets a kick out of food while playing with his friends, he forgets everything around him and is completely drawn to the smell. His mother Margaret does not allow him to help prepare the food, because he cannot keep his paws off it at all. Andromeda is good at listening to her friends and mediating between them when they disagree. When the children once planned an art exhibition at school, they could not agree on how to do it. Andromeda therefore helped them choose a way to set up the exhibition that everyone was happy with. Andromeda loves sweets and always has some with her.
